MBBS, MD, DrNB (Medical Gastroenterology)Dr. Meghraj Ingle is a distinguished gastroenterologist with an extensive educational and professional background. He completed his MBBS at LTMGH, Sion, Mumbai, followed by an MD in Medicine from INHS Ashivini, and two DNBs in Medicine and Gastroenterology from the National Board of Examinations, Delhi, and PD Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai, respectively. Dr. Ingle currently serves as the Professor and Head of the Department at LTMGH, Sion Hospital, and has more than 15 years of experience in gastroenterology and therapeutic endoscopy.
Dr. Ingle's professional experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant at Zen Hospital, Chembur, and Director & Senior Consultant at Gleneagles Hospital, Mumbai. He specializes in diagnosing and treating various gastroenterology and liver diseases and is adept at performing both diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopic procedures, including advanced techniques such as endoscopic mucosal resection, POEM, polypectomy, and EUS-guided procedures.
With a remarkable endoscopic volume of over 50,000 procedures, Dr. Ingle is also a prolific researcher, having published more than 40 articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. His expertise is frequently sought at gastroenterology conferences where he shares his knowledge and trains young gastroenterologists. As a faculty member at Sion Hospital, he has been instrumental in training residents in endoscopy and gastroenterology for the past 12 years.
